The page opens with a static display. Rapid cycling requires a direct Start action and an explicit acknowledgement of the flashing-light warning.
The repair method avoids rapid full-screen flashing. Keep the target as small as practical and stop immediately if you experience discomfort.
The session pauses when the page is no longer visible. Return to the tab and resume deliberately rather than letting an unseen timer continue.
Do not press, rub, heat or massage the panel. Physical techniques can damage the screen surface, liquid-crystal layer or nearby pixels.
Fullscreen is useful for positioning and solid-color inspection, but browsers retain control over screen locking and display refresh timing.
Browsers permit fullscreen only after a deliberate user action. Escape or the floating button exits fullscreen at any time.
Battery settings, permissions, private browsing or browser policy may prevent the page from keeping the display awake.
The maximum option requests frequent color changes, but the browser and display refresh rate determine what can actually be shown.
No display image, screenshot or personal information is required. Target coordinates, settings and session timing stay in the current page state. A downloaded summary contains only the selected settings and session status.

It provides two browser tools: solid-color screens for locating pixel defects and a small movable repair target that rapidly cycles colors over a suspected stuck pixel.
A truly dead pixel is normally a hardware defect and is unlikely to respond to software. Rapid color cycling is intended mainly as a low-risk attempt for a bright or colored stuck subpixel, with no guarantee of success.
A dark or dead pixel remains black because it does not illuminate correctly. A stuck pixel or subpixel may stay red, green, blue, white or another bright color when the surrounding image changes.
Use Pixel Finder and inspect the display on black, white, red, green and blue backgrounds. A defect that stays in the same physical location across colors may be a pixel or subpixel anomaly.
The targeted patch concentrates color changes on the affected location while reducing unnecessary flashing across the rest of the display. This is more comfortable and safer than full-screen rapid flashing.
Ten minutes is a reasonable first attempt. You can try a shorter session first, then repeat later if the display remains comfortable and the suspected pixel is still visible.
Standard or Fast provides rapid color changes for the targeted area. Gentle is easier to watch. Maximum follows the display refresh rate as closely as the browser permits but is not guaranteed to improve results.
RGB cycles the primary subpixels. RGB plus white and black adds fully bright and dark states. Full spectrum includes cyan, magenta and yellow for a wider range of combinations.
Yes. The solid-color test and targeted cycling can run on LCD monitors, laptops and all-in-one displays. Results depend on the actual defect and are not guaranteed.
The browser interface works on many OLED and mobile displays, but it cannot repair burn-in, image retention caused by panel aging, damaged circuitry or physical screen damage.
No guarantee is provided, and the tool is not designed as a burn-in repair system. Persistent burn-in, broad image retention, backlight bleed and uniformity problems require different diagnosis.
No. Vertical or horizontal lines, cracked glass, ink-like black patches, pressure marks, flickering panels and large dark regions indicate issues beyond an individual stuck pixel.
Rapid flashing can cause discomfort and may trigger seizures in photosensitive people. The fixer never starts automatically, uses a small target, requires an acknowledgement and includes visible pause and stop controls.
The color cycle changes quickly by design. Explicit acknowledgement prevents accidental activation and reminds users to stop immediately if they feel eye strain, dizziness, headache, nausea or other discomfort.
The tool detects the browser or operating-system reduced-motion preference, selects the gentle speed and displays an additional warning. You may keep the gentle setting or make an informed manual change.
Yes. Drag the target, click another position in the repair stage or focus the target and use the arrow keys. Shift plus an arrow moves it in larger steps.
Yes. Adjust Target size from a small patch for one pixel to a larger area for a small cluster. Use the smallest area that fully covers the suspected defect.
No. Fullscreen only makes positioning easier and removes browser interface distractions. The small repair target uses the same selected color sequence and speed.
Press Escape, use Exit Fullscreen in the floating toolbar or use the browser or device fullscreen gesture. The color cycle can also be paused or stopped without leaving fullscreen.
Some browsers or battery-saving modes may reject the request to keep the screen awake. Keep the device powered, disable automatic locking temporarily when appropriate and keep the tab visible.
When supported and selected, the page requests a screen wake lock after you start. The browser may deny or release it because of battery, visibility, permissions or system policy.
No. The fixer pauses when the page becomes hidden to avoid inaccurate timing and unwanted flashing. Return to the tab and resume deliberately.
Yes. Move the browser window to the external display before opening fullscreen, then position the target over the affected location.
No. Applying pressure, heat or sharp objects can damage the panel, coatings or nearby pixels. This page only changes displayed colors and does not recommend physical manipulation.
Stop the cycle, switch to Pixel Finder and examine the same location on black, white, red, green and blue. A revived stuck pixel should change normally with the surrounding screen.
Try one later session if comfortable, then check the device manufacturer’s pixel policy, warranty or repair options. Repeated long sessions do not guarantee a different result.
No. It can help you visually locate a defect, but warranty eligibility depends on the manufacturer, product, pixel count, defect type and policy for your model.
No page-specific endpoint receives display content, coordinates or session settings. The fixer runs in the current browser session and does not capture the screen.
