Very large documents

A practical 100 MB limit reduces crashes, but complex pages can still exceed available mobile memory.

Blocked processing files

Strict content blockers or network rules can prevent the required components from loading. Allow the fixed component hosts and retry.

White signature background

Enable near-white removal or use a transparent PNG. Increase the threshold carefully to avoid erasing pale ink.

Incorrect placement

Review every required page before export. Zoom changes only the preview size and does not change normalized placement.

How do I sign a PDF online?

Can I sign a PDF without uploading it?

Yes. This page processes the selected PDF and signature in the current browser session. It has no page-specific file upload or storage endpoint.

Can I draw a signature with a mouse or finger?

Yes. The drawing pad supports mouse, touch and compatible stylus input, with adjustable width, color, smoothing, undo and redo.

Can I type my signature?

Yes. Enter a name or initials, choose one of seven signature-style presets, select a color and place the rendered signature on the PDF.

Can I upload an existing signature image?

Yes. Upload a valid PNG, JPG, JPEG or WebP image. Transparent PNG usually provides the cleanest result over document backgrounds.

Can the tool remove a white background from an uploaded signature?

Yes. Enable Remove near-white background before loading the image, then adjust the threshold when needed. The processed result is used only in the current session.

Can I resize and rotate a signature?

Yes. Select a placed item, drag its corner handle to resize, use the top handle or rotation control to rotate, and drag the item to move it.

Can I add a signature to every page?

Yes. Select the placed signature and enable Copy to every page. Its normalized position and size are repeated across all pages.

How do I move between pages in a multi-page PDF?

Use the First, Previous, Next and Last page buttons directly below the live preview. The current page number and total page count remain visible between the navigation buttons.

Can I add text and a date to the PDF?

Yes. Add custom text or the current date in several common formats. Text and dates can be moved, resized, rotated and repeated like signatures.

Can I undo placement changes?

Yes. The editor includes undo and redo for adding, deleting, moving, resizing, rotating, duplicating and changing placed items.

Does this tool alter the original PDF file?

No. The original file on your device is not overwritten. The tool creates a new signed PDF for download.

What happens to links and selectable text in the PDF?

The tool adds signature and text images to the existing pages rather than converting every page to a picture. Existing PDF content is generally preserved, although unusual or damaged PDFs may behave differently.

Can I sign a password-protected PDF?

Encrypted or password-protected PDFs are not supported by this browser workflow. Remove the password with authorization, then add the unlocked PDF.

Is this a cryptographic digital signature?

No. It adds a visible electronic signature image. It does not issue a certificate, verify identity or create a certificate-based cryptographic signature.

Is a visible electronic signature legally binding?

Legal effect depends on the document, consent, signing process, identity evidence and applicable law. This tool creates the visible mark but does not provide legal advice or identity verification.

Does the tool work on phones and tablets?

Yes. The layout supports current mobile browsers, touch drawing and touch placement. Very large PDFs may exceed the memory available on lower-end devices.

Which browsers are supported?

Current stable Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari are expected to support the required browser features. Private browsing rules, content blockers or older versions may block dependencies or downloads.

Why is my PDF not opening?

The file may be damaged, encrypted, incomplete, incorrectly named or too large for available memory. Try an unlocked valid PDF and close other memory-intensive tabs.

Why is the signature blurry?

Use a larger uploaded image, draw at a comfortable size, or avoid enlarging a small source far beyond its original dimensions. Typed and drawn signatures are generated at a high working resolution.

Why does an uploaded signature show a white box?

The source image may contain an opaque white background. Use a transparent PNG or enable near-white background removal before loading the signature image.

Can I paste a signature image from the clipboard?

Yes when the browser provides an image in the clipboard. Open the Upload tab and paste the copied image into the page.

Can I duplicate a placed item?

Yes. Select the item and choose Duplicate. The copy is offset slightly so it can be moved independently.

Can I align an item to the page center?

Yes. Select the item and use Center horizontally or Center vertically in the selected-item controls.

Can I use keyboard controls?

Yes. Keyboard users can operate controls normally. A selected item can be moved with arrow keys, with Shift plus an arrow for larger steps.

Is there a file-size limit?

The page applies a practical 100 MB input limit to reduce browser crashes. Usable size also depends on page count, image complexity and available device memory.

Why is the download button disabled?

A valid signed result must be created first. After any placement change, choose Sign and Create PDF again so the output matches the current edit.

What filename is used for the signed PDF?

The downloaded filename begins with correctioncopy.com_, followed by a safe version of the original filename and -signed.pdf.

Does the page store my signature?

No page-specific storage is used. Drawings, uploaded images, placement data and the generated PDF remain in browser memory until reset, replacement, navigation or page closure.

Do I need an account or software installation?

No page-specific account or installation is required. The tool runs in a compatible browser.

How do I start again with another PDF?

Choose Remove PDF or Sign Another after download. Reset releases the current document, preview tasks, signature images, edit history and result data.
