Published calendar versus observation
A published calendar creates a stable civil date sequence. Religious authorities may separately announce Ramadan, Eid or other observances after reviewing crescent-sighting evidence.
Regional adjustment
Different countries and communities may begin a Hijri month on different Gregorian dates. The ±2-day control is transparent and appears in the report rather than silently changing the result.
Neutral date boundary
Each entered day is processed at a neutral UTC boundary. Device time zone changes therefore do not move the date backward or forward.
Localized presentation
Month names, weekdays and numerals can be displayed for Arabic, Indonesian, Urdu, Malay, Turkish, French, Persian or English readers while the underlying numeric date remains visible.
