Smart border detection
Multiple edge, threshold, contrast and border-distance checks compare four-sided candidates. Heavy analysis runs separately from the interface, while manual handles remain available for difficult photos.
Open a document photo or PDF, automatically keep only the real page, correct its perspective, improve clarity and export a clean result.
Use a clear file with the complete document visible. The page is detected automatically.
Supports common images, Apple HEIC / HEIF, TIFF and PDF, or capture a new photo on mobile.
Detection runs away from the interface so the page stays responsive. Fine-tune any corner only when needed.
Keep the detected proportions for the most natural result or choose a known paper size.
Crop the selected page first. Then choose Color, Auto Clean, Grayscale, Black & White or Original and apply the quality settings.
After cropping, quality changes are applied to the cropped document without repeating border detection.
Upload a file. The document area will be detected automatically; review it and select Crop Document.
Tip: select a corner and use Arrow keys for one-pixel movement or Shift + Arrow for ten pixels. The magnifier helps place corners precisely.
A captured document often includes a desk, floor, hand, shadow or other area around the real page. This document scanner automatically compares multiple page-outline candidates, avoids selecting the entire camera frame when a better inner document is present, and transforms the chosen four-corner boundary into a clean rectangle. It can also open Apple HEIC or HEIF photos, TIFF images and individual PDF pages without sending the document content to a page-specific upload endpoint.

A four-point transform straightens a page photographed from above, beside or at a moderate angle.
Reduce gradual shadows, balance color, increase contrast, sharpen text or create grayscale and adaptive black-and-white scans.
Keep the detected ratio, choose common paper proportions or enter a custom pixel width without an artificial export counter.
The selected image is decoded and processed in the current browser session instead of being posted to a document-upload endpoint.
Download a clean PNG, compressed JPG, modern WebP or single-page PDF with a CorrectionCopy-prefixed filename.
Upload a common image, Apple HEIC or HEIF photo, TIFF file or PDF, or use the rear camera option on a supported phone or tablet.
The tool first performs a fast page scan and automatically applies a stronger second pass when the border is difficult. Review the detected outline, move any corner when needed, and select Crop Document to apply the chosen page area.
Keep the detected proportions or select A4, Letter, Legal, A5 or a custom output width.
Choose automatic cleanup, color, grayscale or black-and-white mode and adjust brightness, contrast, shadows and sharpness.
Select Crop Document, apply the preferred quality settings, review the result and download PNG, JPG, WebP or a one-page PDF.
A white page is easier to detect on a dark table than on a similarly colored sheet or bright floor.
Automatic and manual perspective correction need the real four page corners to remain inside the photograph.
Diffuse lighting preserves printed detail and prevents reflections from hiding borders or washing out text.
Your document image or PDF page is handled in the current browser session. No page-specific upload API, database or permanent server file is created. Automatic detection can be affected by curved pages, missing corners, strong shadows, decorative borders and backgrounds that resemble the document. Enhancement can improve captured pixels but cannot recover text that is out of focus, clipped, overexposed or absent. PDF export contains the corrected image rather than selectable OCR text.
Move the handles manually or adjust edge sensitivity. Screens, frames and table edges can look like document borders.
Check every corner and switch Page proportions back to Auto / detected ratio before creating the result again.
Choose a smaller output width, close large tabs and retry. Very large photos and exports require multiple full-size pixel buffers.
It finds the document inside a photograph, removes the surrounding desk or background, corrects perspective distortion, resizes the page and improves readability before export.
Yes. A normal cropper removes a rectangular area only. This tool lets you mark four independent document corners and transforms the tilted quadrilateral into a straight rectangular page.
Yes. Automatic detection analyzes edges, contrast and large four-sided shapes. You can always move the four corner handles when lighting, shadows or a similar-colored background reduce detection accuracy.
Yes. Place each handle on the true document corner and create the result. Perspective correction straightens the photographed page into a flat front-facing image.
Yes. Anything outside the selected four-corner document boundary is excluded from the corrected result.
Yes. The Use Camera button requests an image through the device file picker with rear-camera preference where the mobile browser supports it. You may also upload an existing camera photo.
The tool accepts JPEG, JPG, JFIF, PNG, WebP, HEIC, HEIF, AVIF, TIFF, BMP, GIF and PDF. Browser-decodable images open directly, while HEIC, HEIF, TIFF and PDF support loads only when those formats are selected. Animated images use their first frame.
You can download the corrected page as PNG, JPG, WebP or a single-page PDF.
PNG preserves the corrected pixels without lossy compression. High-quality JPG is practical for photographs and smaller files. PDF is convenient for sharing or printing one corrected page.
Yes. Select Original or Color Document mode. Color Document can balance channel brightness and improve contrast while preserving colored text, stamps and graphics.
Auto Clean converts the page to a clear document-style grayscale result, reduces uneven lighting and shadows, improves local contrast and sharpens text edges.
Yes. Black & White mode applies adaptive thresholding so text remains readable even when different parts of the page have different brightness.
It can reduce many gradual lighting shadows through background normalization. Strong shadows covering text, reflections and clipped highlights cannot always be fully restored.
Moderate sharpening can improve visible text edges, but no enhancement can recreate detail that the camera did not capture. A focused, well-lit photo produces the strongest result.
Yes. Use Rotate Left or Rotate Right before positioning the corners. Automatic detection can then be run again on the rotated image.
Yes. The output can preserve the detected page proportions or use A4, US Letter, Legal or A5 proportions in portrait or landscape orientation.
It can if the selected paper ratio does not match the real page. Keep Auto / detected ratio unless you know the source document uses a specific paper standard.
Yes. Choose full detected detail, compact, standard or print-ready width, or enter a custom pixel width. There is no artificial export-count or resolution counter.
It estimates the page width from the selected corners in the original image and avoids unnecessary enlargement. Actual recoverable detail still depends on the source photograph.
Yes. Add an optional white margin after perspective correction. The margin is included in image and PDF downloads.
No page-specific upload endpoint receives the document content. Image and PDF decoding, border detection, perspective correction, enhancement and export occur in the current browser session. Only the processing code is loaded when needed.
No. The page does not create a server copy or database record. Resetting or closing the page releases the working image from the browser session.
No. Boundary detection analyzes visual edges and shapes. It does not perform OCR or send document text to an external recognition service.
A screen, table edge, frame or strong shadow may look more rectangular than the page. Drag the corners manually, increase detection sensitivity or retake the photo against a contrasting background.
The page may blend into the background, extend outside the photo, be curved, have weak lighting or lack visible edges. The tool provides a safe inset outline that you can adjust manually.
One or more corner handles may not be on the true page corners, or a fixed paper ratio may not match the real document. Reposition the corners and use Auto / detected ratio.
The browser may not have enough memory to decode or create the requested canvas. Close memory-heavy tabs, choose a smaller output width or process the file on a device with more memory. The page does not impose an artificial file-size or page-resolution limit.
It can straighten receipts, certificates, forms, letters, notes, cards and other flat documents. Use only authorized images and follow applicable privacy and identity-document rules.
Four-point perspective correction works best on a flat page. It cannot fully remove waves, folds, book curvature or three-dimensional bending inside the selected border.
Yes. Select the PDF, choose a page from the page selector and process it. The editor handles one selected PDF page at a time so its border and enhancement can be checked accurately.
No. The PDF contains the corrected document image. Use an OCR tool afterward when searchable or selectable text is required.
Current Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari releases support the required image, canvas and download features. Processing speed and maximum canvas size vary by device and browser.
Place the document flat on a contrasting surface, use even light, avoid glare and shadows, keep every corner inside the photo and hold the camera as parallel to the page as practical.
Select Reset All to remove the photo, corners, result and temporary browser resources, or Replace File to keep the page open and choose another image.
