AI Object Remover Online

Remove unwanted objects, people, text and distractions from JPG, PNG or WebP photos with brush-guided content-aware fill. Compare the edit, undo or redo changes, then download PNG or JPG.

Drop a photo here to remove an object

Choose a JPG, PNG or WebP image. The photo is processed locally in your browser and is not uploaded to CorrectionCopy.

How to remove an object from a photo

Clean a JPG, PNG or WebP image in three clear steps without installing desktop software.

1

Add your photo

Drop an image into the upload area or choose it from your device. The browser validates and opens the file locally.

2

Brush over the unwanted area

Adjust the brush size and cover the person, text, logo, blemish or distraction. Use the eraser to refine the selection.

3

Remove, review and download

Choose Fast or Detailed fill, apply the removal, compare with the original, then download PNG or JPG.

Photo cleanup with practical editing controls

The tool combines brush-guided selection, browser-based inpainting and reversible editing controls for common cleanup tasks.

Brush and eraser

Paint precisely over the unwanted area, change brush size and erase parts of the mask before applying the removal.

Two fill modes

Fast fill handles simple backgrounds quickly, while Detailed fill adds a texture-matching pass for more varied surfaces.

Bounded Undo and Redo

Step backward or forward through applied removal operations without keeping an unlimited amount of image data in memory.

Hold-to-compare

Temporarily show the original image while holding the comparison control, then return to the current edited version.

Fit and zoom controls

Fit portrait, landscape, square and panoramic photos into the workspace, then zoom for detailed masking.

PNG and JPG export

Download PNG when transparency matters or JPG when a widely compatible photographic format is preferred.

Private browser processing

The image is decoded, edited and exported inside the current browser session and is not sent to CorrectionCopy.

Touch and mouse support

Pointer-based drawing supports phones, tablets, touch screens, trackpads and desktop mice through one editing model.

Remove people, text and distracting objects

Use the object remover for photobombers, tourists, small logos, date stamps, power lines, litter, skin blemishes and other unwanted details. Brush-guided selection gives you direct control over the area that will be reconstructed.

How content-aware reconstruction works

The browser first fills the selected area from its boundary, then Detailed mode compares nearby texture patches to reduce obvious smearing. The operation runs in a Web Worker so the interface remains more responsive during processing.

Best results and realistic limitations

Simple backgrounds such as sky, walls, grass and sand are usually easier to rebuild. Objects crossing faces, repeated patterns, text-heavy areas or strong geometric lines may require several smaller passes and manual touch-up.

Supported images and privacy

The tool accepts JPG, PNG and WebP files that the browser can decode. Capacity depends on available device memory and browser canvas support. Resetting or leaving the page releases the active image, canvases, worker and temporary download URLs.

AI Object Remover FAQ

Answers about supported images, removal quality, privacy, mobile editing and common problems.

How do I remove an unwanted object from a photo?
Add a JPG, PNG or WebP image, brush over the unwanted object, choose Fast or Detailed fill and press Remove Selected Object. Review the result and download PNG or JPG.
Can this remove a person or photobomber?
Yes, particularly when the surrounding background is relatively consistent. For a large person or a complex background, remove the subject in smaller sections and review each pass.
Can I remove text, a date stamp or a small logo?
Small text and stamps on simple backgrounds are suitable uses. Only edit images you own or have permission to modify, and expect extra touch-up when text crosses detailed objects.
What is the difference between Fast and Detailed fill?
Fast fill reconstructs the selection from surrounding colours and gradients. Detailed fill performs the same structural fill and then adds a texture-matching pass, which takes longer but can better retain natural surfaces.
Why does a removed area sometimes look soft or repeated?
The hidden background has to be estimated from nearby pixels. Complex lines, faces, patterned clothing and large selections provide less reliable context. Use a smaller brush area, Detailed fill and several passes.
Does the photo leave my device?
No. The uploaded image is read and processed by browser canvas and a local Web Worker. The page does not send the photo to CorrectionCopy for object removal.
Does it work on phones and tablets?
Yes. The canvas supports touch through Pointer Events. Very large images and large removal regions may be faster on a device with more memory and processing power.
Which formats can I download?
Download PNG to preserve transparency outside the edited region, or JPG for a smaller and widely compatible photographic file. JPG output uses a white background for transparent pixels.
Why will an image not open?
The file may be empty, damaged, renamed with the wrong extension, or encoded in a format the browser cannot decode. Try exporting it again as a standard JPG, PNG or WebP file.
Can I remove several objects from the same photo?
Yes. After each removal, brush over another object and apply the tool again. Undo and Redo track applied removal operations within a bounded memory history.
