The percentage shown for each palette color represents its share of sampled and included pixels. Filtering, transparency handling and similar-color merging can change the result.

Higher detail examines more image pixels and may capture small color regions more accurately, but it uses more processing time and memory. Balanced detail is suitable for most images.

RGB expresses a color through red, green and blue channel values, normally from 0 to 255. It is commonly used for screens and digital design.
HSL represents hue, saturation and lightness. It can be convenient when adjusting a color family, intensity or brightness in design work.
HSV represents hue, saturation and value. It is often useful for understanding how vivid or bright a selected color is.
The CMYK value is a mathematical conversion from the selected screen color. Printed results can differ because professional print output depends on inks, paper, profiles and production settings.
Relative luminance estimates the perceived brightness used in contrast calculations. It ranges from very dark to very light.
