How to merge PDF files and images
Build one ordered PDF from documents, scans and images without installing software or uploading the source files.
Add the first files
Select multiple PDFs or images, or drop them into the upload area. Every file is checked first, and every page of a multi-page PDF then appears in serial order.
Add more and reorder
Use Add Files +, drop more files at the end, insert between individual pages, drag pages to reorder, or use the accessible arrow controls.
Choose image settings
Original image dimensions are selected by default with no margin. A4 and US Letter modes provide optional page margins. PDF page sizes remain unchanged.
Merge and download
Generate a validated PDF, review its page count and file size, then download the separate merged copy.
Merge PDFs, images and scanned pages into one document
This online PDF merger lets you join PDF files and combine multiple PDF documents into one file while preserving the order you choose. It also works as a PDF and image combiner: JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP and browser-supported AVIF images can become PDF pages alongside existing documents. Use it for invoices, applications, assignments, scanned records, contracts, receipts, portfolios, reports or any workflow where separate files need to become one shareable document.
There is no artificial file-count control in the interface. Start with one batch, select Add Files + whenever another batch is ready, or drag more files into the persistent add area after the list has already been created. Newly dropped files are appended at the end, while the small insertion controls let you place another batch between two individual pages in the continuous sequence. Desktop users can drag items into order; phones, tablets and keyboard users can use the move buttons instead.
Existing PDF pages are copied as PDF pages rather than converted into screenshots, so normal text, vector graphics, page dimensions and image resolution remain in PDF form. Image inputs use full-bleed pages matching their original dimensions by default, or optional A4 and US Letter pages with margins. The generated output is reopened and checked for a valid PDF signature and the expected page count before the result is announced.
Controls designed for accurate PDF combining
The workspace supports long merge jobs, repeated file additions, visual verification and safe recovery.
Repeated file addition
Add multiple batches, append by dropping files after the list is visible, or insert a batch at a specific position.
Flexible ordering
Reorder individual PDF and image pages by drag and drop, move controls or insertion points, then switch between grid and list views.
File and page preview
Inspect image inputs and browse the pages of each PDF in an enlarged, zoomable preview dialog.
Undo and Redo
Restore previous add, remove and reorder states with bounded history before merging the files.
Private local processing
The selected bytes and generated PDF remain in the browser; file contents are not sent to CorrectionCopy analytics.
Progress and cancellation
PDF pages are copied in manageable chunks, with progress reporting and stale-result prevention when cancellation is requested.
Common PDF merge use cases
Combine documents in the exact order required for submission, printing, archiving or sharing.
Applications and assignments
Join a cover page, form, supporting documents, certificates and appendices into one upload-ready PDF.
Scans and receipts
Combine scanner PDFs with phone photos of receipts, signatures or missing pages in their correct sequence.
Reports and business files
Merge chapters, invoices, statements, proposals or monthly reports while retaining existing PDF page quality.
Photo documents
Turn ordered JPG, PNG or other supported images into pages and combine them with an existing PDF.
Image pages, output quality and document behavior
PDF inputs: pages are copied into the output in their current order and dimensions. The merge process does not intentionally rasterize or recompress those pages. Complex document-level elements such as bookmarks, portfolio structures, attachments, scripts, signatures or form relationships may not transfer exactly when pages are copied between documents, so review specialized PDFs after downloading.
Image inputs: JPEG and PNG files are embedded directly where practical. WebP, GIF, BMP and AVIF inputs require browser decoding and are converted for PDF embedding; animated GIF input uses the decoded first frame. Original mode creates a full-bleed page using the image aspect ratio and browser pixel dimensions, so the margin control is intentionally hidden. A4 and US Letter modes automatically choose portrait or landscape orientation and expose optional page margins.
Practical capacity: the tool does not impose an artificial number of files or pages. Available memory, browser limits, image dimensions, PDF complexity and device performance determine the practical workload. Large scanned PDFs or many high-resolution images can require substantial memory. Close other heavy tabs or use a desktop browser when a phone cannot complete a large merge.
Troubleshooting
Resolve common file validation, preview, ordering, processing and download problems.
A PDF is rejected or will not open.
Confirm that it is a genuine PDF rather than another format renamed with a .pdf extension. Password-protected, encrypted, malformed or partially downloaded PDFs may need to be unlocked or downloaded again.
An image is rejected.
The actual file signature must match a supported JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP or AVIF file. AVIF support depends on the browser. Convert HEIC, TIFF, SVG or another unsupported format before adding it.
The enlarged PDF preview does not render.
A damaged page, unsupported PDF feature, content blocker or memory shortage can prevent preview rendering. The file may still merge, but inspect the final output carefully and retry in an updated desktop browser when necessary.
The pages are in the wrong order.
Drag page cards on desktop, use the up and down buttons on any device, or use Undo after an accidental move. Every uploaded PDF expands into the same sequence, and newly dropped files are appended at the end.
The browser becomes slow during a large merge.
Cancel the operation, close memory-heavy tabs, remove unnecessary high-resolution images, or process a smaller group first. The interface has no artificial file limit, but the browser must hold the selected files and output in memory.
A content blocker prevents processing.
The pinned PDF components load only after file-selection intent. Allow the dependency host for this page or retry in a browser without restrictive script blocking.
The download does not start.
Allow downloads for CorrectionCopy, confirm available device storage and select Download Merged PDF again. On mobile, check the browser download manager or Files application.
Merge PDF FAQ
How can I merge several PDF files into one?
Add the PDFs, arrange them in the required order, select Merge Files into PDF, wait for output validation and then download the merged file.
Can I keep adding files after the first selection?
Yes. Use Add Files +, select the add area at the bottom, or drop another batch into that area. Dropped files are appended to the end, while insertion controls can place a batch between existing items.
Is there a maximum number of files?
The interface does not impose an artificial file-count limit. Practical capacity depends on browser memory, device performance, file complexity and total output size.
Can I merge PDF and JPG or PNG files together?
Yes. PDF, JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP and browser-supported AVIF inputs can be combined in one ordered output. Each image becomes a PDF page.
Does merging reduce PDF quality?
Existing PDF pages are copied without intentionally turning them into images or recompressing their visible content. Image inputs retain their source data when direct embedding is supported.
Can I undo a removed or moved page?
Yes. Undo and Redo cover file additions, page removals and page-order changes. A new action after Undo clears the redo branch.
Does the original file change?
No. The tool creates a separate PDF whose filename begins with correctioncopy.com_. The files selected from your device are not overwritten.
Are the files uploaded to a server?
No file-upload endpoint is used. Reading, previewing, merging and output generation happen in the browser. Broad analytics may record only actions such as starting, completing or downloading.
Does the tool work on phones and tablets?
Yes, in modern mobile browsers. Touch users can use the move buttons instead of drag and drop. Large jobs may be more reliable on a desktop with more available memory.
