It can prove that a browser successfully created a GPU context, wrote temporary browser storage, received keyboard or mouse input, captured a camera stream, detected microphone activity, played stereo sound or received controller events. These are useful functional checks.
It cannot directly inspect motherboard power rails, CPU temperature sensors, GPU hotspot temperatures, physical RAM error logs, NVMe or SATA SMART attributes, fan RPM, BIOS event logs, PCIe link errors, Windows Device Manager status, macOS System Information, Linux kernel messages or manufacturer-specific diagnostic codes. Those checks require operating-system privileges, native software, firmware diagnostics or professional equipment.
The recommendation engine uses transparent rules rather than claiming artificial certainty. A camera permission error points first to browser permission, privacy settings or another application using the camera. A WebGL context failure points to disabled hardware acceleration, an outdated graphics driver, browser incompatibility or a GPU problem. A temporary storage write failure points to private browsing restrictions, full storage, quota policy or file-system problems. Multiple failures across browsers and operating-system diagnostics increase the reason to suspect hardware.
Driver or software causes are more likely when the device appears in firmware or the operating system, works in another browser or account, failed after an update, or returns after reinstalling the driver. Hardware causes become more plausible when the component fails across multiple browsers and operating systems, disappears from firmware, disconnects under movement, produces visual artifacts, makes abnormal electrical or mechanical noise, overheats, or fails a manufacturer diagnostic.

The page can show an approximate device-memory hint, tested buffer size and browser storage quota. Exact RAM brand, DDR generation, DIMM capacity, SSD model, NVMe controller, drive serial number, SMART health and NAND-chip identity require trusted system diagnostics.
After permission is granted, the browser may reveal camera, microphone and audio-output labels such as built-in, USB or Bluetooth device names. Selected USB, HID, Serial, Bluetooth and Gamepad devices can expose product names or vendor/product identifiers.
