Resize — pixels, millimeters or inches
DPI (dots per inch) converts a physical mm/inch size to pixels — 300 DPI is the standard used for printed and passport photos.
Setting an exact width and height not matching the crop's ratio will stretch the image unless "Lock aspect ratio" is on.
★ Passport, visa & ID photo size (65+ countries)

A quick-reference passport photo size chart in millimeters. Pick your country in the Crop & Resize tab and the tool converts it to the exact pixel size for you.
Every country sets its own passport photo size, and there is no single global standard, so a photo that is accepted in one country can be rejected in another. Most of the world uses the ICAO-style 35×45mm photo — this covers the UK, all EU/Schengen countries, Australia, Japan, South Korea and dozens more. The United States, India and Brazil use a square 2×2 inch (51×51mm) passport and visa photo size instead, Canada and Brazil's larger format is 50×70mm, and China uses a unique 33×48mm passport size. This passport photo size converter lets you resize in millimeters, inches or pixels and applies the correct DPI automatically, so the exported ID photo, visa photo or biometric photo comes out print-ready.
Also used for US visas, Green Cards and DV Lottery photos. 51×51mm, 600×600px at 300 DPI.
Same ICAO size used across the UK passport, visa and driving licence photo applications.
Shared by all 27 Schengen countries: Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands and more.
The standard Indian passport photo size, plus a separate 35×45mm size for some visas.
The largest common passport photo size in the world, unique to Canadian passport rules.
A narrower size than the ICAO standard, used specifically for Chinese passports and visas.
The same ICAO passport photo size used for Australian passports and visa applications.
A wider format used for UAE passport, visa and Emirates ID photo submissions.
65+ countries are available directly in the tool — open the Crop & Resize tab and look for "Passport, visa & ID photo size." Requirements can change, so always confirm the current photo rules with your country's passport or visa authority before submitting.
This free online image editor handles the everyday edits most photos need, without installing any software. Upload a picture and switch between five tabs: Crop & Resize to frame the shot and set an exact size in pixels, millimeters or inches (or pick a passport photo size preset), Rotate & Flip to straighten or mirror it, Filters for brightness, contrast, saturation, grayscale, sepia, blur and sharpen, Border to add a colored frame with optional rounded corners, and Watermark to stamp your own text or logo onto the image.
The resize tool doubles as a picture size converter: switch the unit toggle between px, mm and in, set a DPI (dots per inch), and the exact pixel output updates instantly — useful for print-ready photos, passport photos, visa photos and ID photos as well as web and social images. Every adjustment is rendered in a single live preview built from the exact same pipeline used for the final export, so what you see is what downloads. Cropping supports a free-form box or locked ratios like 1:1, 4:3 or 16:9, with corner and edge handles you can drag directly on the image. When you're done, export as PNG, JPEG or WEBP with an adjustable quality setting. There is no file size limit, and your image stays 100% protected and private throughout — it is never uploaded, stored or shared with anyone.

Yes. In the Crop & Resize tab, switch the unit toggle from Pixels to Millimeters or Inches. A DPI field appears so you can set the print resolution — 300 DPI is the standard for print and passport photos — and the tool converts your physical size to the exact pixel dimensions automatically.
Yes. The Crop & Resize tab includes a "Passport, visa & ID photo size" dropdown covering 65+ countries, including the US and India (2×2 in / 51×51mm), the UK and EU/Schengen countries (35×45mm), Canada (50×70mm), and China (33×48mm). Selecting a country sets the exact millimeter size and converts it to pixels at your chosen DPI.
300 DPI is the standard resolution for printed and passport photos, and is the tool's default. Some countries accept lower resolutions for digital uploads, but 300 DPI is universally accepted and produces sharp prints, so it's the safest choice unless an authority specifies otherwise.
Yes. Choose 1:1, 4:3, 3:4, 16:9, 9:16 or Original in the Crop & Resize tab and the crop box will lock to that ratio while you drag its corners. Choose Free for an unrestricted crop.
Yes. The Rotate & Flip tab has a fine straighten slider from -45° to 45° in addition to quick 90° rotation buttons and horizontal or vertical flip.
Yes. Turn on Border in the Border tab, then set its width, color and optional corner rounding for a soft, rounded frame.
Yes. The Watermark tab supports independent text and logo watermarks, each with their own position, size, opacity and, for text, rotation and an optional tiled pattern.
The Filters tab applies blur or sharpen to the whole image, which works well for softening a busy background or sharpening a slightly soft photo before publishing.
You can upload JPG, PNG, WEBP, GIF or BMP files, and download your edited image as PNG, JPEG or WEBP with an adjustable quality setting for JPEG and WEBP.
