There is no artificial file-size or page-count restriction. Practical capacity depends on available memory, PDF complexity and the browser.
These are the most common reasons a PDF cannot be previewed, numbered or downloaded.
Confirm the file is a genuine PDF rather than another format renamed with a .pdf extension. Password-protected, corrupted or partially downloaded documents must be unlocked, repaired or downloaded again.
Enter pages or ranges such as 2-8, 10, 14-18. Every page must exist in the loaded PDF, and entries must be separated with commas.
The current previewed page is not included by the selected page mode or custom range. Navigate to an included page or revise the page selection.
Roman numerals require positive whole numbers. Set the starting number to 1 or higher, or choose an Arabic-number format.
Increase the edge margin, choose the opposite page edge, reduce the font size or move the number to another alignment.
Close memory-heavy tabs, keep the page active or use a desktop browser with more available memory. Scanned PDFs and image-heavy documents require more resources.
