HEIC to JPG for iPhone photos, Windows and web uploads

HEIC and HEIF are efficient image containers commonly produced by iPhones and other modern devices, but many upload forms, older applications and cross-platform workflows still expect JPG or PNG. This converter turns those photos into standard browser-friendly files without requiring desktop software.

For normal photography, HEIC to JPG is usually the most practical choice because JPEG is accepted almost everywhere. The quality control changes the JPEG compression level: higher values keep more detail but generally create larger files. PNG is also available when you want an output without JPEG compression, although PNG files can be much larger for photographs.

Batch conversion is designed for camera-roll exports and groups of iPhone photos. Files are processed one at a time to reduce peak memory pressure, and completed outputs remain available for individual download. When several results are ready, the batch download is packaged as one ZIP so browsers do not have to approve a long sequence of separate downloads.

The converter focuses on the visible image. EXIF, GPS, camera settings, HDR gain maps and other HEIC metadata are not guaranteed to carry into the new JPG or PNG. If metadata retention is essential for an archival workflow, keep the original HEIC files alongside the converted copies.

Metadata preservation is not guaranteed. The output is intended to preserve the visible image, while location, camera settings, original HEIC metadata and HDR-related data may be omitted. Keep the original HEIC files if those details matter.
HEIC decoding is computationally expensive and high-resolution photos can use substantial memory. This tool processes photos sequentially to reduce memory pressure, so very large batches may take longer on phones or older computers.
A failed photo is marked separately while successful photos remain available. You can retry failed files without discarding the completed outputs. Corrupt, unsupported or non-HEIC files may not decode.
Yes. Enable Resize photos and enter a maximum length for the longest side. The converter keeps the original aspect ratio and will not enlarge a photo that is already smaller than the chosen maximum.
