Draw naturally
Use touch, mouse or stylus input with adjustable width, smoothing, pressure response, erasing and stroke-level undo.
Create a clean handwritten or typed signature, customize its style and download a transparent PNG ready for PDFs, forms, certificates and documents.
Draw inside the area using a mouse, finger or stylus.
This online signature generator gives you two practical workflows: draw a natural handwritten mark or type a clean signature-style name. The final result can be trimmed, padded and downloaded as a transparent PNG that is easy to place over document backgrounds.
Use touch, mouse or stylus input with adjustable width, smoothing, pressure response, erasing and stroke-level undo.
Enter a name or initials, compare several signature styles and adjust size, weight, spacing, slant and underline.
Keep transparency, remove excess margins, add controlled padding and create a higher-resolution file for documents or printing.
The controls follow the same order as the real signature workflow.
Both methods create a reusable signature image, but they solve different practical needs.
| Method | Best for | Main controls | Important consideration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Draw | A personal handwritten shape created directly on the device | Pen, eraser, width, smoothing, pressure, undo and redo | A stylus or touch screen may feel more natural than a mouse |
| Type | Fast, repeatable signatures and initials | Style, size, weight, spacing, slant, underline and color | A blocked font request can temporarily show a fallback style |
A transparent background keeps only the visible signature pixels, so the image can sit cleanly over white paper, colored forms, certificates and PDF pages. Automatic trimming reduces unnecessary blank margins, while padding preserves a controlled edge for easier placement and resizing.
Use 1× for lightweight online forms, 2× for most office documents and 4× when the signature may be enlarged or printed. Higher resolution increases pixel dimensions and file size.
After downloading, open CorrectionCopy Sign PDF to upload the PNG, place it on a page and save the signed document.
Your signature is created in the current browser session. This page has no page-specific endpoint for uploading or storing the drawing, typed name or generated PNG. Signature font files are requested separately and the typed name is not included in those font-file requests.
The current drawing, typed text and image output remain in browser memory until reset, navigation or page closure.
The PNG is a visual mark. It does not verify identity, issue a certificate or automatically establish legal validity for every document.
Create and place only signatures you are authorized to use. Do not reproduce another person’s signature without clear permission.
Increase Stroke smoothing, reduce Pen width slightly, zoom the page if needed, or use a touch screen or stylus. Slow continuous movement usually creates a cleaner stroke than many short marks.
Image clipboard access is not available in every browser or context. Generate the signature and use Download PNG, which is the most broadly compatible export method.
Enable Trim empty space and lower Outer padding. Generate the signature again so the final file reflects the changed output settings.
Typed styles load as page fonts. If a privacy extension, network rule or content policy blocks them, allow the font request and reload the page; the preview will refresh after the selected style becomes available.
Answers about drawing, typed signatures, transparent PNG files, mobile use, privacy and PDF signing.
It lets you draw a handwritten signature or type a name in a signature-style design, customize the appearance, trim empty space and export the result as a PNG image.
Yes. Choose Draw, then use the mouse on the signature area. Rounded strokes and adjustable smoothing help create a cleaner result.
Yes. The drawing area supports touch input, so you can sign directly with a finger on compatible mobile browsers.
Yes. Compatible stylus input is supported, and optional pressure sensitivity can vary stroke thickness when the device reports pressure information.
Yes. Choose Type, enter your name and select a signature style. You can also adjust size, weight, slant, letter spacing, color and underline.
The seven signature-style fonts load when the page opens. A temporary cursive fallback may appear on a slow or restricted connection, then the preview refreshes when the selected font becomes available. The generated PNG preserves the final rendered appearance.
Yes by default. Transparent PNG is selected initially, so the signature can be placed over documents, forms, certificates and images without a white box.
Yes. In Output settings, choose white or a custom solid color instead of transparency. The resulting PNG will include that background.
Yes. Drawn and typed signatures can use black, blue or any custom ink color selected in the controls.
Yes. Select Eraser and draw over unwanted parts. Erasing is stored as an editable action and can be undone.
Yes. Undo removes the most recent drawing or erasing action, and Redo restores it. Keyboard shortcuts are also supported while working in the signature tool.
Smoothing reduces small pointer movements and creates a steadier line. A lower value follows movement more closely, while a higher value creates a softer path.
When supported by a stylus, pressure sensitivity changes stroke thickness according to pen pressure. Mouse input normally uses a consistent pressure value.
Yes. Keep Trim empty space enabled to crop transparent margins around the visible signature while preserving the selected padding.
Yes. Padding adds a clear margin around the trimmed signature, which can make placement and resizing easier in document editors.
Standard resolution is suitable for many online forms. High and maximum resolution produce more pixels for large documents, printing or repeated resizing.
On compatible secure browsers, Copy PNG places the generated image on the clipboard. When image copying is unavailable, download the PNG instead.
Generate and download the transparent PNG, then open the linked Sign PDF tool. Add the PDF, upload the signature PNG and position it on the required page.
No. This page creates the signature image. Use the Sign PDF link to place the generated signature into a PDF document.
Yes. Transparent PNG files can be inserted into many word processors, document editors, form systems, presentation tools and design applications.
Legal effect depends on the document, jurisdiction, consent, identity evidence and signing process. This tool creates an image and does not independently verify identity or provide a digital certificate.
No. A signature image is a visual mark. A certificate-based digital signature uses cryptographic verification and may provide additional identity and tamper-evidence properties.
This page creates the signature in the current browser session and has no page-specific upload or storage endpoint. Reset clears the current drawing and generated output.
No page-specific account or installation is required. Use the tool in a compatible browser and save the generated PNG to your device.
Yes. The interface is responsive and supports touch drawing, typed signatures and PNG downloads on current mobile browsers, although clipboard behavior varies by device.
A final output must be generated first. Choose Generate Signature after creating or editing the signature. Any later change makes the old output stale until it is generated again.
Draw at least one visible pen stroke or enter a name in Type mode. Eraser-only actions and whitespace-only typed text do not create an exportable signature.
Yes. In Type mode, enter one or more initials, or draw the initials in Draw mode.
Choose Reset Tool to clear drawing history, typed text, generated output and custom settings, then begin again.
The filename begins with correctioncopy.com_. Typed signatures use a safe version of the entered name when available, and drawn signatures use a general signature filename.
