How to interpret a suspicious point

Dark on every bright color

A point that stays black on white, red, green and blue may be a non-illuminating pixel or a group of failed subpixels. Recheck after cleaning the surface.

Bright on black

A point that remains white or colored on black may be a stuck subpixel. Compare its exact position across all primary colors.

Visible only on one primary color

A point that differs only on red, green or blue may indicate a fault in that color channel rather than the complete pixel.

Large patch, line or uneven area

Lines, clusters, glow, pressure marks and broad nonuniformity are different from one isolated pixel and may require professional inspection.
