Roll 1 to 6 dice
Select one, two, three, four, five or six standard dice and generate all results together.
Roll standard six-sided dice online in one click. Choose how many dice you need, see each result and get the total instantly for games, decisions or probability practice.
Simple standard d6 dice roller.
Ready to roll.
The tool intentionally keeps the workflow simple: choose the number of standard dice, roll, and read the result.
This online dice roller is designed for the common task most people need: rolling one or more standard d6 dice without installing an app or finding physical dice. It works as a virtual dice roller, random dice generator and six-sided dice simulator while keeping the interface intentionally straightforward.
Select one, two, three, four, five or six standard dice and generate all results together.
Each die is shown separately, and the combined sum is calculated immediately for board-game and classroom use.
The result is generated locally in the current browser with the Web Crypto random-number API.
Each virtual die needs an equal software probability for the values 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. The rebuilt engine gets unsigned random values from the browser and uses rejection sampling before mapping them to a d6 face. This avoids the small bias that can occur when an arbitrary integer range is reduced with a simple modulo operation.
Every die is generated independently. Previous rolls do not make a particular face more or less likely on the next roll.
Repeated numbers, streaks and unusual totals are normal in short random sequences. Fairness means equal probability before the roll, not forced visual balance afterward.
Replace missing dice, roll movement values or continue a game when physical dice are unavailable.
Generate quick d6 observations for simple probability, statistics and expected-value demonstrations.
Assign choices or players to die values when you need a small random number from 1 through 6.
Use a phone or computer during online game sessions when players are not sharing the same physical dice.
Roll two or more d6 dice together for games and exercises that use summed dice results.
Generate six-sided random values while testing simple game mechanics, examples or practice activities.
The old public counter and rating system has been removed. This page does not write your dice results to a page-specific database.
The page remembers only the current result and session roll count while it is open. Reset clears them immediately.

Choose one to six six-sided dice and select Roll Dice. The page generates one independent value from 1 to 6 for each die and shows the individual faces plus the combined total.
The rebuilt roller uses the browser Crypto.getRandomValues API with rejection sampling so each face from 1 through 6 receives the same software probability. It is cryptographically strong pseudorandomness supplied by the browser rather than a physical random process.
Yes. Use the selector to roll 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 standard six-sided dice at the same time.
Yes. It is useful whenever a game needs one or more standard d6 dice, including many board games, party games, classroom activities and casual turn-order decisions.
Yes. Every die in this tool is a standard d6, meaning each roll can return an integer from 1 through 6.
2d6 means rolling two six-sided dice. This tool can roll 2d6 directly by selecting two dice.
The page-specific roll results stay in the current page session. This rebuild does not write dice rolls to Firebase, localStorage or a page-specific database.
Yes. The interface is responsive and designed for current desktop and mobile browsers that support the standard Web Crypto API.
Independent random rolls can naturally produce repeated values and streaks. A fair random process does not force all six faces to appear evenly in a short session.
Yes. Reset clears the current dice result and the local session-roll count, then restores the default two-dice selection.
