Text, vector illustrations, lines, shapes, gradients, patterns, annotations, and page layout are not separate raster pictures and therefore are not exported by this tool. Some visible artwork is assembled from several image layers, clipping paths, or masks, so one page element may produce multiple partial files.

The exported file may not be byte-for-byte identical to the asset used to create the PDF. PDF documents can store pictures with internal colour spaces, compression filters, alpha masks, or other structures that must be decoded and re-exported. Image masks may appear as black silhouettes because their final colour is supplied by separate page instructions.
