Add one or multiple unlocked PDF files. Processing capacity depends on the browser and device.
Review the validated outputs and download them below.
Use the same five-step workflow shown by the compression interface.
Drop one or more valid PDF documents into the upload area or browse your device.
Select Light, Balanced, Strong or Custom compression, or preserve selectable text and links.
Start compression and review progress for each document and page.
Check the original size, compressed size, reduction percentage and preview before downloading.
Download one compressed PDF or package multiple successful results into one ZIP archive.
This browser-based PDF compressor is designed for documents that are too large for email attachments, application portals, learning platforms, cloud storage or mobile sharing.
Compress PDF online when a report, scanned form, assignment, invoice, portfolio or presentation exceeds a file-size requirement. Balanced compression rebuilds visible pages at a practical resolution, while Light keeps more detail and Strong prioritizes a smaller result.
The compressor evaluates the rasterized candidate, a structural repack candidate and the source PDF. It selects the smallest valid output rather than presenting a larger generated file as an improvement. Each result shows the original size, final size and reduction percentage.
For several documents, the batch workflow processes one file and one page at a time, releases temporary canvases, continues after recoverable file failures and offers individual PDF downloads or a single ZIP archive.
The page focuses on real compression, usable comparison data and recoverable browser processing.
Choose Light, Balanced, Strong or Custom resolution and JPEG quality settings.
Keep text, links and vector content when structural repacking is more important than maximum reduction.
Add multiple PDFs, remove individual files and package successful results into one ZIP.
One damaged document does not automatically discard successful results from the rest of the batch.
The original is retained when generated candidates are invalid or fail to reduce the file size.
Open the original or compressed PDF in a full browser preview before saving the result.
The page has no file-upload endpoint. Documents are processed in browser memory, but processing libraries are loaded from pinned external URLs after the user selects a file.
PDF bytes, page images and generated outputs are not transmitted to a CorrectionCopy processing server by this page.
Reset clears the loaded batch and generated results. Temporary preview and download URLs are revoked.
Available memory, page dimensions and document complexity determine how much a browser can process reliably.
Password-protected PDFs are rejected with a clear message rather than processed as an incomplete document.
Cancel prevents stale completion and keeps the currently loaded source files available for another attempt.
Preview important documents after lossy compression, especially small text, diagrams, signatures and scanned forms.
Most failures come from encryption, damaged files, limited memory, blocked dependencies or documents that are already efficiently compressed.
Confirm that the file is a real unlocked PDF. A renamed non-PDF, incomplete download or encrypted document is rejected.
Use a lower-resolution mode, process fewer files at once, close memory-heavy tabs or move the job to a device with more memory.
Use Light or Custom with higher DPI and JPEG quality, then preview the result before download.
Enable Preserve selectable text and links before running compression again.
The original may already use efficient image and object compression. Keeping it avoids an unnecessary size increase.
Allow the pinned processing hosts in network filters or content blockers, then reload the page and try again.

For stronger compression, each page is rendered and rebuilt with compressed page imagery. The selectable-text option instead structurally repacks the existing PDF and keeps its text, links and vector content intact, although the size reduction may be smaller.
Balanced is suitable for most documents. Light prioritizes sharper page detail, Strong prioritizes a smaller file, and Custom lets you control page resolution and JPEG quality directly.
Yes. Enable Preserve selectable text and links. The tool then avoids flattening the pages and performs a structural optimization. A PDF that is already optimized may not become much smaller.
Raster compression trades some page-image detail for a smaller file. Light keeps more detail, while Strong applies greater reduction. Preview the compressed result before downloading when visual fidelity is important.
A mostly-text PDF or an already optimized PDF may have little redundant data. The tool compares generated candidates with the original and keeps the smallest valid version, so it will not intentionally return a larger file.
Yes. Add multiple PDFs, process them in one batch, download each successful result separately, or download all successful results in a ZIP archive.
Yes. Choose Cancel Compression. The tool stops after the current safe processing step, keeps the original files loaded and prevents an incomplete result from being presented as successful.
No page-specific file upload endpoint is used. The selected files are read and processed in browser memory. The browser still needs internet access to load the pinned processing libraries unless they are already cached.
Yes. Scanned PDFs are often image-heavy and usually benefit from Balanced or Strong compression. Very low-quality scans may become harder to read, so preview the result before downloading.
No. Encrypted or password-protected PDFs must be unlocked with authorization before this browser workflow can process them.
The page does not impose an arbitrary local-processing limit. Practical capacity depends on the browser, device memory, page dimensions and document complexity. Large jobs display a device-capacity warning and can be cancelled.
The failed file receives a clear error state while the remaining valid PDFs continue processing. Successful outputs remain available for individual or ZIP download.
Yes. Each file has a Preview PDF control. Before compression it opens the source file; after compression it opens the selected smallest result.
No. The compressor preserves the document page order. Raster compression rebuilds the visible page appearance at the same page dimensions and orientation.
Light, Balanced, Strong and Custom raster modes rebuild each page as a compressed image. Choose Preserve selectable text and links when searchable text, links, forms or vector content must remain interactive.
Current stable Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari are expected to support the required browser features. Content blockers, strict network policies or older browser versions may prevent the processing libraries from loading.
