The tool reports storage is full

Download a complete backup, delete unneeded decks or shorten oversized card text, then try saving again.

Speech playback is unavailable

Try a current browser, verify that system speech voices are installed and make sure the device is not muted.

Yes. CSV files can include front, back, hint, tags and starred columns. The importer also accepts tab-separated text and compatible JSON backups.

What format should bulk pasted cards use?

Place one card on each line and separate the front from the back with a tab or two colons. Optional hint and tags can be added in later tab-separated columns.

Can I export one deck?

Yes. Each deck can be exported as a structured JSON file or a CSV spreadsheet with card text, hints, tags, starred status and review data.

Can I back up every deck at once?

Yes. Download Complete Backup creates one JSON file containing all decks and settings currently saved by the tool.

Does the tool upload my flashcards?

No page-specific server endpoint receives deck content. Creating, editing, studying, importing and exporting happen in the browser.

What study modes are included?

Flip mode reveals the answer, typed-answer mode compares a typed response, and multiple-choice mode creates answer options from other cards in the same study queue.

What happens if a deck has too few cards for multiple choice?

The session automatically uses flip mode when there are not enough distinct answers to create useful multiple-choice options.

How does spaced review work?

After revealing an answer, choose Again, Hard, Good or Easy. The card receives a new due time and interval based on its previous reviews and your rating.

Is the review schedule a medical or scientific guarantee?

No. It is a practical study scheduler, not a guarantee of learning outcomes. Adjust ratings honestly and combine flashcards with active practice and course materials.

Can I study only cards due today?

Yes. Choose Due Cards when starting a session. New, starred, weak and all-card queues are also available.

What are weak cards?

Weak cards are cards with more incorrect than correct review outcomes or cards recently rated Again.

Can I reverse question and answer sides?

Yes. Study settings can show the back as the prompt and the front as the answer, which is useful for language and definition practice.

Can the tool read cards aloud?

A Speak button is available when the browser and device provide speech output. Voice quality and language options depend on the device.

Can I use keyboard shortcuts?

Yes. During study, Space reveals a card, number keys 1 through 4 apply review ratings, S reads the current side aloud and the right arrow skips forward.

Can I search a large deck?

Yes. The card manager searches front text, back text, hints and tags, and can filter starred, due, new or weak cards.

Can I duplicate or reorder cards?

Yes. Every card includes duplicate, move up, move down, edit and delete actions.

Can I undo an accidental change?

Yes. Recent deck and card changes can be undone and redone during the current page session. A downloaded backup remains the safest recovery method.

How many flashcards can I create?

The tool does not impose a card-count limit, but browser storage is finite. Very large decks or unusually long card text may eventually fill the available space.

What happens when browser storage is full?

The tool keeps the previous saved version and shows a storage warning. Export a backup, remove unneeded decks or shorten unusually large cards before saving again.

Does it work on mobile phones?

Yes. The interface is designed for touch screens and narrow displays. Exporting a backup is especially important before clearing mobile browser data.

Which browsers are supported?

Current Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari releases are expected to support the core deck and study features. Speech voices and file-download behavior can vary by browser and device.

Can I print flashcards?

The deck view includes a Print Cards action that creates a clean printable question-and-answer layout for the active deck.

How do I completely remove my decks?

Choose Reset All Data and confirm the warning. This removes the flashcard data saved by this tool in the current browser profile.
