A crop tool built for both PDFs and photos

This free PDF and image cropper works entirely in your browser and covers both quick trims and tricky, tilted originals. Drag the eight-point rectangle to trim margins, remove borders, or cut a page down to size — snap to 1:1, 4:3, 16:9, A4, US Letter and other common ratios, or type exact X, Y, width and height in pixels for pixel-perfect control. Every PDF page can be cropped the same way in one pass, or you can crop a single page while leaving the rest of the document untouched.

Not every original is perfectly square to the camera. Photographed pages, receipts and whiteboard shots are often skewed, so this tool also includes a genuine 4-point perspective crop: drag each corner onto the edge of the document and the tool warps it back into a clean, straight rectangle — the same idea used by dedicated document-scanning apps. For scans that are only slightly crooked, the straighten slider nudges the angle a fraction of a degree at a time until every line is level, and one-click rotate and flip controls fix sideways or mirrored pages.

Whether you are searching for a PDF cropper, an image cropper, a way to deskew a scanned document, or simply need to trim PDF margins before printing, the result here is a clean, correctly-oriented file with no watermark and no page limit. Once your file is cropped, jump straight to PDF Editor to add text or a signature, Compress PDF to shrink the file size, or Rotate PDF for simple page rotation only.

Crop PDF & Image — frequently asked questions

Add your PDF, drag the crop rectangle (or switch to Perspective mode for a skewed page), then click Crop file and download. There is no account, no watermark and no page limit.

Yes. Switch to Perspective Crop and drag each of the four corner handles onto the edges of the document in the photo. The tool warps the skewed shape back into a straight rectangle, similar to a dedicated document scanner app.

A simple rectangle crop with no rotation keeps full source quality. PDF pages are re-rendered at a high resolution before any crop, rotation, straighten or perspective correction is applied, so the result stays sharp; note that after cropping, PDF pages are image-based rather than a searchable text layer.

JPG, PNG, WEBP, GIF and BMP images are all supported for input, and you can export the cropped result as JPEG, PNG or WEBP.

Yes. Use the page strip to select a page, choose "This page only" under Apply to, then crop. Every other page is kept exactly as it was in your original file.

Yes. Use the Straighten slider to rotate by a fraction of a degree until the page lines up, then adjust the crop rectangle to trim only the small sliver of background the rotation reveals at the edges.

No. Cropping, rotating, straightening and the perspective correction all run locally in your browser using JavaScript. Nothing about your file is sent anywhere.

No hard limit. Because everything runs locally, very large or image-heavy files simply take longer, depending on your device.
