Create the PDFs in your browser, validate the output and download one file or the whole converted batch.

Excel to PDF Conversion for XLSX, XLS and CSV Files

CorrectionCopy’s Excel to PDF converter turns spreadsheet data into fixed PDF pages that are easier to print, submit, archive or share with people who do not have Microsoft Excel. It supports modern XLSX workbooks, legacy XLS files and CSV data, including multi-sheet workbooks and batches of several spreadsheet files.

For wide worksheets, use Landscape orientation and keep Fit wide sheets to page enabled. If you need columns to continue across horizontal PDF pages instead, turn that option off. The generated PDF preserves spreadsheet values and table structure; formula cells use values already stored in the workbook.

This browser converter is optimized for readable tables rather than pixel-perfect reproduction of the Excel application. Embedded charts, floating images, macros, print-area rules and every workbook-specific visual style may not be reproduced exactly. For those cases, Microsoft Excel’s own Save as PDF function can provide closer application-specific rendering.

Useful Spreadsheet-to-PDF Features

Controls designed around common Excel-to-PDF problems such as cut-off columns and long worksheets.

Multi-sheet workbooks

Convert every worksheet in workbook order or export only the first worksheet.

Fit wide Excel columns

Scale wide tables toward the available PDF page width to reduce cut-off columns.

Printable page formats

Use A4, Letter, Legal or A3 pages in portrait or landscape orientation.

Repeat table headers

Keep the first non-empty spreadsheet row visible as a header across long PDF tables.

Batch PDF downloads

Convert several spreadsheet files in sequence and download each PDF without uploading the workbook.

Browser-side processing

The workbook contents stay in the browser during conversion and are not uploaded to CorrectionCopy.

Excel to PDF Converter FAQ

How do I convert Excel to PDF online?

Select an XLSX, XLS or CSV file, review the sheet preview, choose your page layout and press Convert Excel to PDF. When conversion finishes, use the same primary button to download the generated PDF or batch of PDFs.

Can I convert XLSX to PDF without Microsoft Excel?

Yes. The spreadsheet is read directly in the browser, so Microsoft Excel does not need to be installed for normal XLSX, XLS or CSV conversion.

How can I fit all Excel columns on a PDF page?

Choose Landscape orientation and leave Fit wide sheets to page enabled. The table font and widths are adjusted to use the available PDF width. Very large tables can still become small, so A3 can be useful for exceptionally wide sheets.

Can I convert every Excel sheet to one PDF?

Yes. Keep Convert every worksheet enabled. The worksheets are added to the same PDF for each workbook, in workbook order, with each sheet starting on a new PDF page.

Can I convert multiple Excel files at once?

Yes. Add multiple XLSX, XLS or CSV files. Each source workbook creates its own PDF and can be downloaded individually or through the batch download action.

Will charts, images and Excel formatting be preserved?

This tool focuses on spreadsheet values and readable PDF tables. It does not promise pixel-perfect reproduction of charts, floating images, macros or all workbook formatting. Use Excel’s own PDF export when exact application rendering is required.

Does the converter support CSV to PDF?

Yes. CSV files are parsed as tabular data and converted to the same PDF table layout controls used for Excel workbooks.

Are my Excel files uploaded?

No. The selected spreadsheet contents are processed locally in the browser. External JavaScript libraries are loaded when needed, but the workbook contents are not sent to CorrectionCopy for conversion.

Is there a file-size, row or conversion limit?

The tool does not impose an artificial local-processing limit. Practical capacity depends on browser memory, workbook complexity, number of rows and columns, and the device being used.

Why does a formula show an old value in the PDF?

The converter uses formula results stored in the workbook. It does not run the full Microsoft Excel calculation engine, so formulas that require recalculation should be refreshed and saved in Excel or another compatible spreadsheet application before conversion.

Can I use the Excel to PDF converter on Android, iPhone or iPad?

Yes, on modern browsers that support local file selection and the required JavaScript APIs. Large spreadsheets generally work more reliably on devices with more available memory.

Privacy and Browser Compatibility

Your spreadsheet file is processed locally in your browser and is not uploaded to CorrectionCopy. The page loads pinned spreadsheet and PDF libraries only after you choose a file or start conversion. Generated PDF data remains in browser memory until you clear the batch, replace the page or close the tab.

Large workbooks can require substantial memory because spreadsheet parsing and PDF table layout both operate in the browser. If a very large workbook fails, close memory-heavy tabs, convert fewer files at once, or use a desktop browser with more available memory.
