Detect standard form controls
Text, multiline, checkbox, radio, dropdown and list fields are collected from the document form structure and page widget annotations for broader compatibility.
Complete existing Adobe-compatible PDF fields, review every page, preserve interactivity or flatten the result, and download the finished form locally in your browser.
The document is inspected before values are edited or saved.
Complete values here or directly over the PDF page.
Data files contain field values only, never the original PDF.
Auto prioritizes the original interactive form and falls back only when necessary.
The original file is never overwritten.
This page is dedicated to filling forms that already contain interactive PDF fields. Field creation is intentionally excluded and will be provided as a separate tool.

Use accessible field controls in the left panel or edit mapped widgets directly over the full-page preview. Matching controls stay synchronized.
Preserve editable fields where possible, flatten the values for consistent display, or allow Auto to use the strongest compatible export path.
The steps below match the actual controls in the form filler.
Drop the PDF into the upload area or browse your device. Enter the document password only when the form requires one.
Fill text boxes, checkboxes, radio buttons and choice fields in the field panel or directly over the PDF preview.
Use the required-field summary and page navigation to find anything that is still empty before export.
Keep the original fields interactive, flatten the completed values, or let Auto choose the most compatible available method.
Generate the completed PDF, inspect the output preview and download the new file without changing the source document.
Your PDF, entered values and optional font remain in the current browser session. The page does not create a public upload or temporary server file.
Standard AcroForm fields provide the strongest browser compatibility. Hybrid documents may work when they expose standard widgets, while pure dynamic XFA behavior remains Adobe-specific.
Editing can invalidate digital signatures, and proprietary calculations or validation scripts may not be reproduced. Verify important official forms in the recipient’s PDF reader.
The PDF may be flat, scanned, pure XFA or dependent on reader-specific scripts. This fill-only page does not add new fields. Use the annotation tool for visible completion or wait for the separate field-creation page.
Enter the authorized password when required. For a pure XFA form or a document that shows a reader notice, open it in Acrobat and save or print it as a standard PDF before browser filling.
Choose a compatible custom font, enable fresh appearances, or flatten the completed form. Viewer differences can still affect interactive styling.
Answers about existing PDF form fields, Adobe compatibility, privacy and completed output.
It opens an existing PDF form, detects standard interactive fields, lets you complete them in the browser and exports a new completed PDF. It does not create new form fields; that will be provided as a separate field-creation tool.
The tool supports standard AcroForm text and multiline fields, checkboxes, radio-button groups, dropdowns and option lists. Push buttons and cryptographic signature fields are displayed for awareness but are not edited.
Many Adobe-compatible AcroForm PDFs can be completed. The tool detects widgets from the PDF page annotations and document field structure, then first tries to save values through the original form storage. Adobe-specific scripts, proprietary calculations and pure dynamic XFA behavior may not work in a normal web browser.
The document may be password-protected, damaged, restricted, dependent on unsupported XFA behavior or use a PDF feature the browser parser cannot interpret. Enter the correct password when authorized, download a fresh copy of the form, or save it as a standard PDF in Acrobat before trying again.
Yes, when you know the authorized password and the browser can decrypt the document. Enter the password below the upload area and retry opening the PDF. Some restricted or specially encrypted documents may still require Acrobat.
AcroForm is the standard interactive form system used in many PDFs. It defines fields such as text boxes, checkboxes, radio groups and dropdowns that compatible PDF viewers can display and save.
Standard fields in hybrid documents may work, but pure dynamic XFA forms rely on Adobe-specific XML layouts and scripts that are not reliably editable in normal browsers. If a form shows only an Adobe Reader notice, open it in Acrobat and save or print it as a standard PDF first.
This page fills existing interactive fields only. A flat or scanned form has no detectable fields, so use the PDF annotation tool for visible text and marks, or use the separate field-creation tool after it is published.
Yes. When a field has a usable page rectangle, an HTML control is positioned over the page preview. The complete field panel remains available when a PDF uses unusual widget coordinates.
Some forms use hidden widgets, unusual page rotations, duplicated field names, scripts or rectangles that cannot be mapped reliably. Use the field panel to complete the value and review the generated PDF.
Yes. Use the field search box and type filter to narrow fields by name, type, page or required status.
Yes. Each detected field lists its page location where available, and the Go to page button opens that page in the preview.
Required fields are marked in the interface and the tool counts required values that are still empty. It warns before generation but does not permanently block export, because some official forms intentionally leave conditional required fields blank.
Yes. Choose Auto or Keep fields interactive. The tool first attempts to save values through the original form structure and then uses a compatible interactive rewrite when possible.
Yes. Flattening converts completed field appearances into fixed page content so recipients cannot edit those form fields. This often provides more consistent display across viewers.
Visual compatibility export renders each completed page and creates a new flattened PDF. It is used only when the original interactive form cannot be saved reliably. The result preserves appearance rather than interactive field behavior.
PDF viewers can apply different fonts, borders and widget rendering. Refreshing appearances or flattening the completed form usually improves consistency. Always test important official forms in the viewer used by the recipient.
Yes. Upload a compatible TTF or OTF font when the standard PDF fonts do not cover the required writing system. Custom fonts are used only during compatible rewritten or flattened output.
Standard built-in PDF fonts support a limited character set. Arabic, Bengali, Hindi, CJK and other scripts may require an uploaded font that contains those characters.
Yes. You can download the current values as JSON or CSV. These exports contain form data, not the original PDF file.
Yes. Import a JSON values file created by this tool after loading the corresponding PDF. Values are matched by field name.
No. It contains field names, values and a document fingerprint when available. Load the original or matching PDF before importing the values.
No artificial file-size, page-count or field-count limit is imposed for local processing. Actual capacity depends on browser memory, PDF complexity and device performance.
No page-specific upload endpoint receives the document or values. The PDF is processed in the current browser session and no temporary server file is created.
No. The browser downloads pinned processing code, but this page does not send your PDF bytes or entered values to those delivery services.
Any modification changes the PDF bytes and can invalidate an existing digital signature. The tool warns when signature structures are detected. Obtain a fresh unsigned form when a valid signature must be preserved.
No. Cryptographic signing requires certificate and identity workflows that are outside this form-filling page.
Basic form values can be preserved, but Adobe JavaScript calculations, validation actions and reader-specific behavior are not guaranteed in the browser or in rewritten output. Verify calculated official forms in Acrobat.
Yes. Cancellation is checked between safe processing stages and pages. A partial file is never presented as a successful output.
Close other tabs, retry with a lower visual fallback quality, process the form on a device with more memory or use the interactive save method when available.
Yes. Reset All releases the loaded PDF, entered values, generated output, custom font and temporary browser resources, then returns to the initial upload screen.
No. Replacing the source starts a new form session to prevent values from being applied to the wrong document. Export JSON first when you need a reusable copy.
